The Immigration Section of the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney has a vacancy for a full time Registry Clerk, working on a pc in a network environment, effective April 12, 2010 . Successful completion of the Higher School Certificate and a minimum 2 years experience working in an office environment is essential. Knowledge and abilities in the following areas are essential.

* knowledge of general office procedures and practices;
* ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute;
* ability to communicate fluently orally and in writing in both English and French;
* ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines under pressure;
* ability to demonstrate sound judgement;
* ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships within a team;
